Located in Bundoora, VIC 3083, Roccella Bundoora is currently seeking a Cook to become part of their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and restaurant standards.
• Assisting in planning menus and contributing ideas for seasonal and specialty dishes.
• Monitoring food preparation and portion control to ensure consistency and minimise waste.
• Ensuring all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment at all times.
• Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies and checking the quality of ingredients received.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

About you:

• At least one year of relevant experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering an excellent dining experience.

Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum
