Customer Service Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Mackay. These positions will be the face of our weighbridge office. These are varied roles where you will manage customer and driver interactions, bulk logistics, and essential administrative tasks. You will also support the wider yard team as the role evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge accepting waste from customers, ensure it is docket correct
• Organise and schedule out going products and services, ensure docket correct
• Ensure Tracking Forms or Manifests are completed correctly prior to entry to site and completion
• Offer excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
• Undertake administration tasks including answering telephone calls and data entry, including additional adhoc administrative tasks when required
• Maintaining an organised office, including organisation of files and records
• Ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Upholding a high focus on safety and assist with yard duties when needed

About you

• Strong background in customer service and admin
• Excellent numeracy, communication and Microsoft Office skills
• Speed and accurate data entry skills
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a small team
• Previous Weighbridge experience is a plus, however not essential
