We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join the team on a full-time basis. 

Key Responsibilities

To deliver the health and safety function for Linley Valley Pork whilst driving continuous improvement in accordance with Craig Mostyn Group (CMG) strategic direction. CMG is an Agribusiness seeking to engage a solution minded Health & Safety Generalist with a strong desire to improve the business through sound Health & Safety advice, operational discipline and the conviction to lead positive change.

Key Responsibilities

To deliver the health and safety function for Linley Valley Pork whilst driving continuous improvement in accordance with Craig Mostyn Group (CMG) strategic direction. CMG is an Agribusiness seeking to engage a solution minded Health & Safety Generalist with a strong desire to improve the business through sound Health & Safety advice, operational discipline and the conviction to lead positive change.

• Support implementation of, and compliance with, CMG Health & Safety standards, including Fatal Risk Standards and critical controls.
• Provide practical health and safety advice and support to managers, supervisors and workers.
• Identify health and safety risks, patterns and trends, and recommend practical controls and improvement actions.
• Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are identified, assigned and closed out.
• Develop, review and maintain site risk assessments, procedures and supporting health and safety documentation.
• Coordinate and deliver health and safety training, communication and awareness activities.
• Support site-based injury management and return-to-work activities in collaboration with the Injury Management Advisor.
• Participate in audits, inspections and other assurance activities.
• Work collaboratively with the Group Safety Manager and other CMG Safety Advisors to share learnings and support consistent practice.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Experience in a health and safety role within an operational environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with managers, supervisors and workers.
• Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience using health and safety systems.

Desirable Skills

• Auditing training or demonstrated auditing experience.
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Formal incident investigation training, such as ICAM or equivalent.
