BLU Electrical Services is a family-owned business delivering medium-scale electrical projects across WA — sport and recreation, healthcare, education, community facilities, and non-process mining infrastructure up to $10 million. We've got multiple projects running right now and more starting soon, and we're after the right person to grow with us, not just fill a seat.

The role

This role is based mainly in Perth metro, with occasional regional projects when the work calls for it. We're not offering a FIFO lifestyle, and we're not chasing mining-rate headlines — what we do offer is honest pay that includes proper overtime and allowances on top of your rate (not a flat number dressed up to look bigger than it is), steady metro-based work, and a genuine path to grow into a leading hand or supervisor role as you prove yourself.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and working from drawings and specifications
• Set-out and installation of underground conduits and pits
• Catenary and cable support system installation
• Set-out and rough-in of power, lighting and data
• Switchboard installation and fit-off
• Cut-out and fit-off, in location and to the drawings
• Testing and commissioning
• Working safely, every time, no exceptions

What we need from you

• A current WA "A" Grade (unrestricted) electrical licence
• A current driver's licence
• Solid hands-on experience across the scope above
• A genuine team-first attitude — we look out for each other here, so that matters more than almost anything else
• A sense of humour helps. So does making your own bed.
