Indirect Tax Consultant / Senior Manager – Melbourne (Multiple Levels)

Melbourne CBD Office location / Hybrid Working

Our client is a leading global accounting & advisory firm and is growing their indirect tax team across various levels, from Analyst through to Senior Manager.

You'll work on a broad mix of indirect tax advisory, compliance and consulting matters, gaining exposure to high-impact work across diverse industries.

The role:

• Provide practical, commercial indirect tax advice across GST, stamp duty, fuel tax credits, customs and excise
• Deliver tax governance engagements
• Research legislation, case law and regulatory guidance
• Build and manage client relationships and engagements
• Manage or lead deliverables, budgets and timelines
• Mentor junior staff (Senior Analyst / Manager level)
• Contribute to business development and internal training

About you:

• Experience in indirect tax and/or corporate tax within professional services
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or similar
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver outcomes
• Strong communication and commercial acumen
• Experience mentoring or leading team members (desirable)
• CA/CPA qualification (completed or in progress)
