About the Role

We're looking for a .NET Developer to join our Software Development team, supporting the design, enhancement and maintenance of custom-built applications used across John Holland. Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and fellow developers to deliver solutions that improve how our business operates. This is an opportunity to contribute to both established enterprise systems and emerging AI-driven initiatives, including proof-of-concepts, AI models and intelligent agents. This is a 12-month parental leave opportunity.

What You Will Do

Develop, enhance and maintain .NET applications and servicesInvestigate, troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issuesCollaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver business requirementsParticipate in peer code reviews and contribute to development standardsDesign and implement automated testing to support high-quality software deliveryExplore and develop innovative solutions, including AI-based applications and prototypes

What We Are Looking For

Strong .NET development experience, including C# and Web APIsExperience working within Agile software development teamsKnowledge of Microsoft development technologies and toolsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate root causes and deliver solutionsAbility to build effective relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholdersInterest in emerging technologies, AI solutions and continuous learning
