Blast Crew Operators

We're seeking experienced Blast Crew Operators to join a high-performing Drill & Blast team on a major iron ore operation in the Pilbara. These are long-term opportunities with consistent work, excellent rosters and the potential to transition to permanent employment.

The Role

• Conduct blast hole QA/QC checks
• Load, prime and stem blast holes
• Assist with charging and tie-in activities
• Set up and maintain blast exclusion zones
• Complete pre- and post-blast inspections
• Operate and maintain blast equipment in accordance with site procedures
• Work safely as part of a collaborative Drill & Blast team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' Blast Crew experience in an open pit mining environment
• WA-based, FIFO from Perth or Busselton
• Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
• HR Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
