Production Manager

The Opportunity

Based at our Whittingham facility, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise the entire production floor within our export processing operation.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance across all production areas, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans

• Planning and coordinating production activities across quality, output, cost, time and labour requirements

• Overseeing daily operations across the full production floor to ensure efficiency and performance targets are met

• Monitoring production output and costs, identifying and implementing process improvements

• Collaborating with senior leadership and other managers on production performance and planning

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

• Ensuring accurate production reporting and record keeping

• Maintaining compliance with operational, WHS and food safety requirements

• Leading, mentoring and performance managing supervisors and production staff

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in a beef processing or export production environment

• Strong understanding of end-to-end production operations

• Demonstrated leadership capability, managing teams and supervisors

• A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of standard WHS and food safety requirements
