Teacher Personal Development, Health and Physical Education - Moree Secondary College Albert Street Campus ($20K Recruitment Bonus + $5-8K Relocation Support Payment)

Moree Secondary College is situated on Gamilaroi country and is part of the Connected Communities Strategy. It services the students from the agricultural region surrounding and within the township of Moree (town population 7,000). Our college services approximately 390 college students, of which, 67% identify as ATSI (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander). 
The college is committed to creating engaging classrooms with staff who have a strong focus on explicit teaching. We continue to create strong connections with the school community to improve attendance and engagement inclusive of Moree community groups, Moree Local AECG and external agencies. Our school is located within the centre of Moree, which also hosts outstanding recreation, sporting, performing arts and shopping facilities. 
You can travel daily by air and train to Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Sydney and by bus to Brisbane.

• Proven ability in classroom management and the capacity to manage practical learning spaces to ensure student safety, participation and engagement in lessons to enhance student learning opportunities.
• Capacity to design and implement quality programs and resources that foster a culture of high expectations for a diverse range of student needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to foster positive relationships and a supportive learning culture within the school community. 

Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (conditions apply) and a relocation support payment of $5,000 to $8,000 for eligible applicants. The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a pro rata basis for permanent part-time teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Until the outcome of any such determination is confirmed, your salary offer will remain at Step 1 then be updated at a later date (typically a 1–2 week processing time post receipt of the form). Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position.
