Part Time (0.6 FTE) | Fixed Term until 31 March 2028

Location: Seymour or Shepparton (travel between campuses will be required)

Salary: The salary for this role is L1.1-L3.5 as per the Victorian Tafe Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.

About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented Teacher Early Childhood to join our Community & Early Childhood team.

If you're an experienced Early Childhood professional and educator who enjoys supporting learners and developing future industry talent, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll play an important part in helping students achieve their goals by delivering high-quality training, assessment and learner support across Early Childhood Education and Care programs. Drawing on your industry expertise, you'll help inspire and prepare the next generation of Early Childhood Educators while supporting learners throughout their training journey.

This position is funded through the TAFE Early Childhood Partnership (TECP) program and has been established to provide additional support to placements, trainees, workplace-based learners and classroom-based students. Working alongside existing teachers, you'll provide wrap-around support for Early Childhood cohorts, contribute to student success initiatives and assist with teaching delivery where required. The role will also provide valuable backfill support across the team as needed.

About you

You will bring:

• TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher relevant qualification
• Experience working in the Early Childhood sector
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to build positive relationships and manage competing priorities
• Previous mentoring, leadership or RTO experience (desirable)

What you'll need

Successful applicants will be required to provide:

• a current National Police Check (issued within three months of commencement)
• a current Employee Working with Children Check (or evidence of application)
• a current driver's licence where required.
