What’s the job? 

We are looking for a new Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures practice in either our Sydney or Newcastle offices. You will be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include:  

• Collaborating with senior engineers and clients to deliver high-quality structural design solutions.
• Performing design and analysis of concrete/steel building structures of a bespoke and diverse nature. 
• Supporting the supervision and guidance of graduate engineers and assisting in the review of design calculations and details.  
• Contributing to the delivery of design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports. 
• Providing construction-phase support on a wide array of projects.

With at least 4 years’ experience in a Structural Engineer role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:  

• A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor’s in civil engineering. 
• Experience working on large-scale projects, with a focus on Building Structures. Experience in Public Buildings, the Transport sector, or Data Centres will be valued.
• Solid technical skills in structural analysis for building structural designs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and support junior engineers
