Labourer / Trade Assistant

About the role

Friday's Sea-Doo is looking for a reliable, energetic and hard-working Labourer / Trade Assistant to join our team in Port Kennedy. This is a hands-on role working around Sea-Doo watercraft, Can-Am off-road vehicles, trailers and workshop equipment. You don't need to be a qualified mechanic. We're looking for someone who turns up, gets stuck in, follows instructions and takes pride in doing a job properly.

Key responsibilities

• Building and assembling trailers

• Assisting with trailer repairs and maintenance

• Uncrating and assembling new Sea-Doo and Can-Am units

• Assisting technicians and mechanics

• Moving watercraft, vehicles, trailers and equipment around the workshop

• Washing, cleaning and detailing watercraft and vehicles

• General workshop cleaning and maintenance

• Keeping work areas, tools and equipment organised

• Helping load and unload stock and equipment

• Other general labouring and workshop duties as required

About you

• Are reliable and turn up on time

• Have a strong work ethic

• Are physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

• Can follow instructions and learn quickly

• Have good attention to detail

• Take pride in keeping your workplace clean and organised

• Can work independently without needing to be constantly supervised

• Are happy working as part of a team

• Have some mechanical aptitude or enjoy working with tools

• Have a current driver's licence

Friday's Sea-Doo & Can-Am is based in Port Kennedy, WA. You'll get to work around some great equipment and products, including Sea-Doo and Can-Am, while developing practical workshop and mechanical skills.
