About the role

Shepherd is seeking skilled and experienced Electricians to join our growing team. At Shepherd, we offer the opportunity to work on a vast range of diverse electrical projects across commercial and industrial sectors. What we're looking for

We are looking to grow our team with licenced Electrical Tradespeople and experienced individuals. There are multiple roles to fill with individuals who are highly motivated, have a passion to learn and will strive to achieve. Candidates will ideally have a vast range of experience within the industry, are happy to take on responsibility and have the ability to teach and guide those around them. Potential leadership roles such as leading hand and foreman positions available should you have the relevant skills and experience required.

Required skills and competencies:

• Current Unrestricted Driver’s Licence

• Unrestricted ACT Electrician's Licence (COLA) 

• Strong communication and leadership skills 

• The ability to work well in both a team environment and individually

• White Card, Asbestos Awareness, Working with Asbestos Containing Materials and Silica Awareness qualifications 

• Demonstrated experience working as a qualified Electrician in commercial or industrial settings

• Sound knowledge of Australian electrical safety standards and a commitment to health and safety in in the workplace

Desirable skills and competencies:

• Experience with IAuditor and Procore

• Comfortable with the use of laptop/iPad for documentation and correspondence 

• EWPA Operator Licence (Yellow Card)

• High Risk Work Licences

Successful applicants must currently hold or be eligible to attain the required Australian Security Clearances.

This position may require you to undertake pre-employment and ongoing employment screening checks, including a police check.
