Senior Estimator

Oasis Building Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Estimator to join our growing Ballarat team. We are a locally owned custom building company specialising in new homes, renovations and extensions, and medium-density residential developments throughout Ballarat and surrounding regions. With a diverse pipeline of projects, no two jobs are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced estimator who enjoys variety, problem-solving and being involved across the full project lifecycle.About the roleAs our Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of the end-to-end estimating process, working across sales, pre-construction, production and procurement. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our in-house drafting, design, sales, construction and estimating teams to take projects from initial concept through to construction. We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and confident working across a diverse range of projects. As a client-facing role, you’ll also be a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients, trades, suppliers and the wider Oasis team.Your responsibilities will include:Manage end-to-end estimating across sales, production and procurement for new homes, renovations and medium-density developments.Prepare accurate project estimates, take-offs, budgets and cost plans from architectural, engineering and consultant documentation.Coordinate trade and supplier pricing, scopes and procurement, maintaining strong relationships with our subcontractor and supplier network.Work collaboratively with our in-house sales, drafting and construction teams, identifying cost efficiencies, project risks and buildability considerations.Experience using Constructor estimating software is highly regarded, along with confidence adopting new technology, systems and AI-assisted tools.Provide estimating support throughout the client journey, including pricing discussions and variations, while utilising our estimating software and emerging AI systems to improve efficiency.Experience across multiple residential construciton types will be highly regarded.
