Integration .NET Developer - Darwin

TQA Consulting is seeking an Integration .NET Developer for a 12-month full-time contract in Darwin, NT. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate and have lived in Australia for the past 5 years.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design and development of a key integrated solution for an existing .NET/SQL application.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience building and supporting systems integrations

• Experience with integration between two or more systems (preferably with 2-way data interchange with at least one system)

• Demonstrated experience with .NET Framework and .NET (Core/.NET 6+)

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML and integration patterns.

• Git and CI/CD experience.

• Demonstrated skill in writing unit tests.

• Demonstrated skill in issue tracking toolsets such as JIRA.

• Experience working with a business analyst during requirements gathering.

• Experience in technical architecture design, application development and programming to develop well designed solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Well-developed organisational skills with ability to work within a project team to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Desirable Skills and Experience

•  Demonstrated skills with developing desktop applications in WPF/XAML/web apps, SPA

• Understand the concept of Dependency Injection

• Experience with unit testing and continuous integration

• Experience with writing and reading technical documentation including database models, functional specifications and technical designs

• Understanding of enterprise application architecture and infrastructure, including multi-tier application architecture (client, presentation, business, service, data, and database layers), VM infrastructure, environment setup, web servers, databases, service accounts, and DNS.

• Understanding of network design and security principles, including the implementation of security controls for internal and external systems.
