Practice Advisor

About the Role

This process may be used to fill APS5 positions across the Practice Quality Branch, including roles assessing behaviour support practitioner suitability, assessing behaviour support plan quality, preparing policy guidance and advice on matters relating to Positive Behaviour Support, and managing unauthorised restrictive practice notifications.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Practice Quality Branch with support from team and line manager. 
• Draft internal and external professional correspondence related to behaviour support and restrictive practices. 
• Under supervision, support project work related to behaviour support and the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices. 
• Monitor, coordinate and respond to external practice enquiries and referrals. 
• Support relevant compliance activities with NDIS providers and practitioners.
