About us

Ascent Speech Pathology is a leading provider of speech pathology services dedicated to helping only adults achieve their communication and swallowing goals. We are a small but currently growing team in our new location at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital.

• Wants to work with adults only no paediatrics, ever.

• Has experience (or a strong interest) in voice disorders and progressive neurological conditions.

• Is self-driven and confident managing their own caseload, backed by structured support.

• Values genuine clinical depth over volume you'll build real relationships with your clients over time.

• Will service both in clinic and home visits.

• Branded uniform, therapy bag, laptop and iPad provided.

• $1,500 CPD to pursue training that genuinely excites you.

• Scheduled weekly supervision, plus external supervision as needed.

• Team get-togethers to foster connection and celebrate our wins together.

• In-house training sessions, run regularly to keep your skills sharp and support your ongoing learning.

• A defined caseload with clients ready and waiting.

• Caseload: Building to approx. 25 client-facing hours/week, scaled to your experience.

• A degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.

• Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.

• NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Current National Police Check.

• Comfortable driving your own caseload, with structured support behind you.

• Experience with voice disorders and/or progressive neurology (e.g. Parkinson's, MND, dementia).

• A genuine excitement about working exclusively with adults.

• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for the adult population.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, families and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
