About the role
At Mirrastone, we are proud to be Victoria's largest residential home builder, delivering thousands of homes each year across some of the state's most recognised brands.
Our vision is deliberately simple:
"To be the home builder most known for changing consumer views on home building in Victoria."
Our group includes industry-leading brands such as Sherridon Homes, Royston Homes, Soho Living, Marque Property Group and others, delivering homes and communities across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Service & Warranty Supervisor to join our team, servicing Melbourne's Northern and Western suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in residential construction who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As a Service & Warranty Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing post-construction service and warranty matters, ensuring our customers continue to receive a high standard of support long after they have received the keys to their new home.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting new home service and warranty inspections
Identifying, assessing and resolving building defects and maintenance issues
Preparing detailed inspection reports and service requests
Coordinating trades, suppliers and contractors to complete rectification works
Providing technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the warranty process
Building strong relationships with homeowners and delivering exceptional customer service
Working closely with Service & Warranty Administrators, Technicians and internal stakeholders
Managing warranty outcomes in line with company standards, VBA requirements and industry best practice
Ensuring service requests are resolved efficiently and within agreed timeframes
Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the warranty process
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience within a Service & Warranty, Maintenance or Construction role in the residential building industry
Strong understanding of residential construction methods and defect diagnosis
Sound knowledge of VBA requirements, building regulations and industry standards
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage customer expectations and navigate challenging situations professionally
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment
Current Australian Driver's Licence
The following would be highly regarded:
Certificate IV in Building and Construction
Trade qualification within the construction industry
Experience working within a volume home building environment
Competitive salary package
Fully maintained company vehicle
Mobile phone, fuel card and E-Tag provided
Ongoing training, support and professional development
Strong leadership and a collaborative team environment
Weekly team catch-ups and ongoing support from experienced colleagues
Long-term career opportunities within Victoria's largest residential builder
Industry-leading systems and processes
Outstanding company culture and employee events
Opportunity to work for a business with a strong pipeline and continued growth
If you have a strong construction background, enjoy solving problems and take pride in delivering exceptional customer outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
