Maintenance Trades Person

About the role

This is a permanent full-time position for a skilled and versatile maintenance professional to join the team at Eleebana Shores, a premium retirement community. You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, functional and well-presented community.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner
• Conduct routine inspections of village buildings, facilities, and infrastructure
• Plan and carry out preventative maintenance
• Engage and manage external trades and services
• Advise on and assist with refurbishment works when required
• Contribute to asset management planning and assist in identifying opportunities for asset improvement and lifecycle replacement
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order updates
• Exterior cleaning, including pressure washing and home detailing
• Routine equipment care and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures while actively promoting a safe and healthy work environment

About you

• Practical experience in construction trades, building maintenance and asset management
• The flexibility to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
• Basic digital literacy, including the ability to use a mobile app to receive and complete work orders
• The ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including manual handling and outdoor work activities
• A current C-Class Driver's Licence
• Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) – desirable
• Working at Heights Permit – desirable
• Current Police Check – must have or be willing to obtain
• First Aid Certificate – must have or be willing to obtain
