Marine Interior Fitout Tradesperson

Marine Fitout WA is seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team, delivering high-quality interior fitouts on luxury and commercial vessels. Based in Henderson, we specialise in custom marine cabinetry, solid timber joinery, composite fabrication, marine decking and complete vessel interior fitouts.

No two projects are the same. One week you may be manufacturing bespoke cabinetry in the workshop, the next you’ll be installing interiors onboard luxury and commercial vessels .

Your work may include:

·         Manufacturing and installing custom marine cabinetry

·         Interior fitouts onboard luxury and commercial vessels

·         Working with veneers, laminates and solid timber

·         Marine decking fabrication and installation

·         Reading plans and solving onsite fitout challenges

·         Working alongside other skilled trades to deliver exceptional finishes

·         Is a qualified Cabinetmaker, Joiner, Shopfitter, Shipwright, or has relevant fitout experience

·         Will also consider outstanding 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentices

·         Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship

·         Has excellent attention to detail

·         Enjoys problem-solving and working on varied projects

·         Is reliable, motivated and works well within a team

·         Is willing to learn specialist marine construction techniques

·         Holds a manual driver’s licence (preferred)

·         Has a forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

·         Has permanent Australian working rights

·         Interesting, varied work with no production-line cabinetry
