Head of Marketing and Business Development

As we continue to invest in our future growth, we are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Head of Business Development and Marketing to lead and evolve our business development and marketing strategy.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with Practice Leaders and the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the firm's business development and marketing function and play a key role in delivering our strategic growth agenda.

You will help translate strategy into action by:

• leading firm-wide business development initiatives;
• strengthening client and referrer relationships;
• building business development capability and confidence across the firm;
• partnering with Practice Leaders on growth planning and market opportunities;
• driving key account management and client experience initiatives;
• leading the firm's marketing and brand activities;
• leveraging data, insights and CRM capability to support growth and decision-making; and
• coaching and developing the Marketing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking, commercial insight and practical execution.

About you
You are an experienced business development and marketing leader who enjoys partnering with professionals to achieve growth outcomes.

You bring:
•    significant business development and marketing leadership experience within professional services;
•    strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking;
•    demonstrated experience coaching professionals and building growth capability;
•    experience leading marketing strategy, client development and key account programs;
•    strong stakeholder management and influencing skills;
•    experience using data and insights to drive decision-making;
•    people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing team members; and
•    the ability to operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels.

Experience within the legal sector or another partnership based professional services environment will be highly regarded.
