Warehouse Storeperson

The Company

We are a long established and a highly respected manufacturer, distributor and installer servicing the Australian outdoor leisure market. Due to significant growth in our Queensland market & Brisbane Warehouse due to a recent aquisition, we are on the hunt for our next high performer to join our team!

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager & Operations Manager this important role is required to support the increased demand for products being received and dispatched through our Brisbane warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing of products and preparing these for dispatch.

• Loading and unloading of containers.

• Quality control and checking goods received.

• Operating all mechanical equipment including Forklifts in a safe manner.

• Use of hand tools as required.

• Heavy lifting of products.

• Packaging and labeling of stock.

• Participate in stocktakes and weekly cycle counts.

• Prepare delivery run sheets and complete consignment notes.

• General housekeeping duties as required.

• Deliveries to customers as and when required.

The Person

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organised and possess great time management skills.

• Be motivated and with strong attention to detail.

• Experience checking delivery sheets and goods inward, including uploading containers.

• Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks.

• A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.

• A willingness to learn and a positive "can do" attitude.

• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

• Current Forklift and drivers licence.

• Computer skills or the ability to learn.

• Must be a team player.
