About the Role

As a Corporate Security Officer, you will be the face of our client's business, providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors and contractors while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access to the building and verify visitors, contractors and deliveries.

• Provide exceptional front-of-house customer service.

• Conduct internal and external security patrols.

• Monitor CCTV, alarms and building management systems.

• Respond professionally to emergencies, incidents and security breaches.

• Complete accurate incident reports, shift handovers and daily occurrence reports.

• Manage visitor registration and access card systems.

• Liaise professionally with building management, tenants, emergency services and contractors.

• Enforce building rules, security procedures and emergency protocols.

• Assist with emergency evacuations and incident management.

• Maintain a strong security presence while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Operate security technology, email systems and reporting software.

• Ensure all duties are completed in accordance with company policies and client procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Current Victorian Security Licence.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial building, corporate or concierge security.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Strong report writing skills.

• Confident using computers, Microsoft Outlook, email, incident reporting systems and mobile applications.

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Professional appearance with excellent grooming standards.

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays when required.

• Current First Aid Certificate.

• Full Australian working rights.

Uniform & Presentation

This is a premium corporate security role. Successful applicants must wear a business suit provided or approved by Apex Guarding Services and maintain exceptional personal presentation and grooming standards at all times.
