Primary Teacher (Year 4)

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic  Classroom Teacher to join the team at Heritage College, Officer Campus.

This is a full-time and permanent position. This position is open to graduates and commences at the beginning of the 2027 school year.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

• Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
• Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
• Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
• Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
• Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
• Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education
• VIT Registered Teacher

• Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT
