Due to continued growth, Rosmech is offering permanent full-time position to join our dynamic team located at our active and expanding Workshop at Salisbury Plain site.

Using your knowledge in a supportive and focussed workshop team, your contribution to the daily maintenance of sweeper vehicles that are used for environmental cleaning will be very valued.

The opportunity is also extended to applicants with plant mechanic or heavy vehicle mechanic or diesel fitter trade qualifications.

About the Role…

This full-time position based in Salisbury Plain, SA, the location of the company’s head office. You will be working in an active team at the busy Workshop area and report to the Workshop Supervisor.

The successful mechanics will be responsible for:

• The completion of all required service and repair work on various machinery on site

• Engine fault diagnosis, repairs and reconditioning

• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle control system

• Replacement or service/refurbishment of perishable/useful life or consumable machine components

• On site repairs and servicing

• Attendance to service calls when required

 Okay, what do I need to have to be successful?...

• Desired Mechanic Light and/or Heavy qualification (or comparable international qualification) as a Mechanic, Fitter or Auto Electrician

• Proficient mechanical knowledge and demonstrated auto-electrical, electrical and hydraulic skills

• At least two years’ relevant employment experience is preferred

• Drivers licence - preferred card MR or HR. And if you have don't have these licenses, please don’t let this discourage you from applying

• Ability to work autonomously when the job requires and also within a team

• A solution-finding and continuous improvement approach

• A sense of urgency for various jobs/projects and punctuality

• A high customer service focus

• Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
