Automotive Spray Painter

The opportunity

Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team at Kallangur Smash Repairs (formerly Mick Youngs Smash Repairs) in Kallangur, Queensland.

This is a full-time position, where you will play a vital and valued role in our team.

As the new owners of Kallangur Smash Repairs, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.

Based in Kallangur, we are easy to access from across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay areas - no more bumper-to-bumper highway traffic.

What you'll be doing

·         Prepping surfaces - sanding, masking, and priming

·         Mix and apply paint to vehicles to a high standard

·         Maintain a clean and organised work environment

·         Collaborate with the wider team

What we're looking for

·         Trade qualification in Automotive Spray Painting

·         Experience as an Automotive Spray Painter in a smash repair environment

·         Excellent knowledge of vehicle paints, materials, and application techniques

·         Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

·         Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented environment
