Labourer / Site All–Rounder - Commercial Construction Site

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Labourer / Site All-Rounder to join our team on a large commercial construction project in Yatala.

This role is based on a growing commercial estate where multiple factory buildings are being constructed, with ongoing work planned over the years ahead. It is a practical, varied role suited to someone who enjoys being active, helping across different site tasks, and taking pride in keeping a construction site organised, safe, and running smoothly.

The position is initially available on an ABN hourly basis, with the potential to transition to a salary or employment arrangement at a later stage for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

·      General site labouring duties across a busy commercial construction site.

·      Assisting the Site Supervisor and wider project team with day-to-day site support.

·      Site cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance.

·      Moving, organising, and setting up site materials, equipment, and temporary fencing.

·      Assisting with site preparation and general construction support tasks.

·      Using basic hand tools and power tools where required.

·      Supporting safe access, clear work areas, and general site presentation.

·      Assisting with deliveries, storage areas, and movement of materials.

·      Working outdoors and across a variety of different tasks.

·      Helping keep the site organised, clean, safe, and ready for trades.

 What We’re Looking For

·      To be successful in this role, you will have:

·      Previous experience in labouring, construction, warehouse, civil, maintenance, or other hands-on site work.

·      A current Construction White Card — mandatory.

·      Experience using basic tools and carrying out practical site tasks.

·      A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

·      Forklift licence preferred, but not essential.

·      Telehandler, EWP, working at heights, or other site tickets would be advantageous.

·      A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

·      Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work consistently.

·      Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

·      A safety-focused approach to all work.

·      The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·      A willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as required.

 Hours of Work

Minimum hours are generally:

6:30 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Additional hours may be available depending on site requirements.
