Medical Receptionist – Part-Time
Busy Medical Centre | Bayside

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy, well-established medical centre in Bayside.

This is a part-time position of 15–20 hours per week, with additional hours available to provide annual leave and sick leave coverage when required.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing a busy reception environment.

• Welcoming patients and providing outstanding customer service

• Managing appointments and telephone enquiries

• Processing patient billing and Medicare claims

• Maintaining accurate patient records

• Liaising with doctors and allied health professionals

• General reception and administrative duties

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (essential)

• Experience using Best Practice software (preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

• A professional, friendly, and compassionate manner

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• A reliable and flexible approach to work

• Part-time hours (15–20 hours per week)

• Additional hours available for annual leave and sick leave coverage

• Monday to Friday roster – no weekends
