EXPERIENCED HEAVY HAULAGE TRUCK DRIVER (HC)

Marino Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Heavy Haulage Driver to join our growing team based in Cairns, Queensland. This full-time position involves transporting equipment and machinery to construction, civil and infrastructure projects throughout Far North Queensland.

• Safely operate a range of heavy haulage vehicles, including low loaders and drop deck wideners.

• Transport a variety of heavy and oversized machinery to and from construction and civil project sites.

• Perform pre-start inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks.

• Ensure all loads are secured and transported in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate transport documentation and communicate effectively with customers and site personnel.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy haulage transport.

• Current HC or MC Driver's Licence.

• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle operations, load restraint requirements and transport regulations.

• Experience transporting construction and earthmoving equipment.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team environment.
