Warehouse Operator

We are a medium sized freight forwarder and customs brokerage located in Banyo. We are seeking two motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Warehouse Operators to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The operator will be responsible for the efficient movement of cargo in and out of the warehouse or yard, working closely with both the operations and customer service teams. The position operates on two shifts: 6:00am to 2:00pm and 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, assembling, packing and unpacking goods

• Loading and unloading vehicles and/or trucks

• Carrying, moving and conveying goods

• Delivering goods as directed

• Labelling parcels and goods accurately

• Marking or stenciling of items

• Assembling crates as needed

• Attending Quarantine inspections

Skills & Requirements

• Willingness to learn and follow directions

• Current driver’s licence

• Current forklift licence (Hi-Reach forklift experience highly regarded)

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Positive and proactive attitude

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
