THE ROLE

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our growing Urgent Care Service.

Working alongside Registered Nurses, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients presenting with urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clinical and administrative support within the Urgent Care centre
• Welcome patients and assist with appointments and registration
• Work alongside Registered Nurses to care for injuries and illnesses
• Conduct patient histories and support clinical assessments
• Administer medications and provide wound care and plastering
• Provide patient education and support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Complete Medicare billing and coding requirements
• Ensure care is provided within scope of practice and ForHealth policies
• Support workplace health and safety and report incidents and hazards

ABOUT YOU

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• 3 years' Primary Care/General Practice nursing experience OR
• 2 years' Emergency Department or similar experience OR
• 3 years' Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic or similar acute care experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations
• A passion for patient-centred care

MANDATORY CHECKS

Successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, with an International Police Check where applicable.
