Administration Assistant

Be at the centre of a team that supports major projects across Blacktown City. As an Administration Assistant in the Transformational Projects team, you keep day to day operations organised so project teams can focus on delivering outcomes for the community.

You coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and maintain program calendars. You manage project records, file correspondence, prepare documents and reports, update databases, and maintain information in Council’s record management systems. You also process invoices, raise purchase orders and help maintain project cost reports.

You support tender and quotation processes, assist with contract administration, respond to general enquiries, and prepare documentation for Council reports and VIP requests. You work closely with staff, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, up to date and easy to access.

This role suits someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities. If you communicate well, pay close attention to detail and enjoy providing high quality administrative support in a project environment, we’d love to hear from you.
