Despatch Coordinator

About the role

This opportunity will be offered on a full-time basis, averaging approximately 38 hours per week, with standard operating hours of Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm. As a Despatch Coordinator, your primary focus will be to support the safe and efficient coordination of dispatch activities within a high-risk operational environment, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Organising despatch and delivery of all goods

• Manage and book transport, including the collection of external products

• Ensure accurate, efficient and prompt delivery of orders to meet customer requirements

• Oversee the administration, distribution, and ongoing management of Yard packs

• Manage the scheduling and loading of delivery trucks

• Ensure all correct paperwork is delivered with each order

• Responsible for the collection and quality of Proof of Delivery Paperwork

• Conduct final quality assurance checks to ensure jobs completed align with contractor delivery dockets

• Any other duties as directed by Reporting Manager

About you

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar production, warehouse, or logistics role

• Experience operating a forklift and side loader

• Previous experience using hand tools

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

• Full Australian working rights

• Current High-Risk Forklift Licence

• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one at your own cost)

• Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
