General Practitioner

I’m currently working with Capalaba Family Medical Centre to find a GP interested in joining the centre during an important stage of its growth.

Capalaba is a newly established medical centre bringing general practice and urgent care services together on Brisbane’s Bayside.

Having visited the centre, what stood out to myself was the opportunity for the right GP to genuinely establish themselves and help shape the practice as it grows, within a team that is focused on supporting both its doctors and patients.

This opportunity could suit a GP looking for:

• The opportunity to establish yourself and help shape a growing practice where patient care and a genuinely supportive culture matter.

• Strong day-to-day support, including an experienced Practice Manager (Vanessa), administration team and excellent nursing support, including a dedicated care plan nurse.

• The ability to develop your clinical interests or sub-specialise, with the support of ForHealth to help build the areas of practice that are important to you.

There is also scope to discuss meaningful commencement support for the right GP. Rather than putting a standard offer in an advertisement, I’d prefer to understand your current practice, preferred hours, patient following and what would make a move worthwhile.
