Manager

The Atherton International Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Venue Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader with a proven background in hospitality and Venue management. A strong understanding of licensed club operations and a genuine desire to deliver exceptional service to members and guests is essential. As Venue Manager, you will provide visible leadership across all areas of the club, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, gaming, compliance, and financial performance. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential. This position reports to the Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications / Licences

·         Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

·         Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)

·         Liquor Approved Manager (or ability to acquire same)

·         Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV)

·         Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) (or ability to acquire same)

·         Ability to ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws, gaming regulations, and club policies

Key Responsibilities

1.      Proven good management and delegation skills.

2.      Ensure liquor licensing laws, gaming regulations, and club policies are met.

3.      Oversee safety standards in all areas.

4.      Manage staff recruitment, training, mentoring, and rostering.

5.      Exhibit excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

6.      Experience with budget preparation and management.

7.      Liaise with the contract caterer and the functions team.

8.      Experience with writing and maintaining Policies and Procedures.
