Internal Sales, Administration & Warehouse All-Rounder

About the role

Alpha Saws and Tooling Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales, Administration & Warehouse All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Wantirna South, Victoria. In this multifaceted role, you will be the backbone of our operations, seamlessly supporting sales, administration and warehouse functions. Your ability to move between different responsibilities with ease will be critical to keeping our business running smoothly whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Processing customer orders, quotes and enquiries via phone, email and in-person

• Managing inventory, stock levels and warehouse organisation to ensure efficient order fulfilment

• Preparing and dispatching orders, including picking, packing and labelling

• Providing product information and recommendations to customers to support the sales team

• Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, customer details and inventory movements

• Liaising between sales, warehouse and customers to resolve issues and track orders

• Handling general administrative duties including invoicing, data entry and filing

• Assisting with receiving and storing incoming goods and materials

• Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks as required to meet operational demands

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders (up to 25 kg)

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and office.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, administration or a similar office-based role.

• A friendly, confident and professional phone manner.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience preparing quotations and communicating professionally via email.

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Experience using Xero or MYOB or any invoicing softwares

• The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.

• A willingness to learn our products and company procedures.

• The ability to quickly understand product catalogues and identify the correct products.

• A proactive attitude and the confidence to ask questions rather than make assumptions.

• A strong work ethic with pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

• The ability to comfortably lift and carry items weighing up to 25 kg.
