Yard Coordinator (BCH)

We are seeking a hands-on, reliable and proactive individual who can take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of our yard and ensure operations run efficiently, safely and on schedule.

About The Role

As Yard Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating the movement, storage and availability of equipment and materials across the yard.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Coordinating daily yard operations and activitiesOrganising the movement, loading and unloading of equipment and materialsMaintaining accurate stock and equipment recordsEnsuring the yard is kept clean, organised and safeCoordinating deliveries, collections and dispatchesWorking closely with drivers, operators, supervisors and managementEnsuring equipment is available and prepared when requiredIdentifying and reporting damaged, missing or faulty equipmentManaging yard priorities and ensuring tasks are completed on timeSupporting the team with general operational and logistical requirementsEnsuring workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times

About You

The successful candidate will be:

Highly organised and able to manage multiple prioritiesReliable, proactive and willing to take ownershipConfident communicating with staff, drivers and managementPractical and hands-on with a strong work ethicComfortable working in a busy operational environmentSafety-conscious and committed to maintaining high standardsExperienced in yard, warehouse, logistics, transport or similar operationsAble to work independently while also being a strong team player

Experience coordinating a busy yard or operational environment will be highly regarded.
