The Role

Our two-year Graduate Development Program (GDP) is designed to accelerate your growth — combining hands-on project experience with structured learning, mentoring, and exposure across teams and disciplines. 

Once completed, successful Graduates move along our Career Pathways, transitioning to their Professional title (either ‘Graduate’ or ‘Scientist’ depending on the technical discipline) and then onwards. Growth is a balanced blend of experience, tenure, development, goals and desired trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll support the delivery of geotechnical engineering projects from day one — contributing to investigations, analysis and technical documentation while learning from experienced engineers and gaining exposure to site and project delivery. 

• Contribute to the delivery of geotechnical projects by supporting site investigations, data interpretation and technical reporting
• Assist with geotechnical analysis, including soil and rock assessment, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in site visits and ground investigations to develop an understanding of subsurface conditions and construction methods
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate geotechnical inputs and support project delivery
• Learn and apply industry standards, tools and best practice through structured development and on-the-job experience 

About You 

You’re a motivated Civil or Geotechnical Engineering graduate who enjoys problem-solving, working in teams, and contributing to real-world infrastructure projects. 

You will bring: 

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Exposure to geotechnical or modelling tools, GIS, or data analysis software (advantageous)
