Warehouse Assistant

Dermalogica, one of Australia’s top professional skin care companies is seeking an entry level warehouse assistant to join their Distribution Centre in Lane Cove.

The Role

The Warehouse Assistant role is responsible for ensuring all orders are picked and packed to the Dermalogica company standard and support stockists to ensure merchandise is distributed within company timelines. The role requires the candidate to be a strong team player, adaptable and flexible with a can-do-attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow correct picking and packing procedures using WMS & scanners

• Work proactively as a member of the warehouse team at all times and with Duty of Care

• The ability to be adaptable and flexible learning new processes and systems.

• Processing orders using the EDI system as required

• Processing Webshop orders and ensuring all labels and cartons are updated in Shippit

• Support stockists to ensure merchandise is appropriately processed and distributed to meet promotional or event activity

• Follow systems and processes in accordance with the Dermalogica Employee Handbook

• Ensure a neat and tidy work environment always

• Adhere to all OH&S principals and standards

• Be aware and take personal responsibility for safe lifting practices and ensure manual handling training is completed

• Work safely and to consider the health and safety of others. Always demonstrate safe behaviors and environmentally sound work practices.

• Ensure you comply with all Dermalogica OH&S policies and procedures

• Comply with all Dermalogica policies and procedures including and not limited to EEO, OH&S and Harassment in the Workplace

• Act in accordance with Dermalogica Code of Ethics and organisational values

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous warehouse experience

• Basic Computer Skills/Experience

• Good Communication skills

• Capable of using warehouse equipment safely as required ie pallet jacks

• Valid Australian working rights

• Must hold valid manual drivers license
