Competitive Advantage HRM & Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a trusted and highly respected locksmith and electronic security specialist servicing the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast.

Our client has built an outstanding reputation for delivering quality locksmith and security solutions across residential, commercial, automotive, body corporate and small business sectors.

They are a close-knit team of approximately 20 employees who genuinely enjoy working together. They pride themselves on staying at the forefront of the industry by investing in modern equipment, technology and systems, while maintaining a supportive workplace where professionalism, communication and quality are at the centre of everything they do.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Locksmith to join their team.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role working across residential, commercial, automotive, body corporate and small business clients throughout the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast.

You will be responsible for delivering quality locksmith services while working with a team that values professionalism, customer service and high-quality workmanship. The role offers regular overtime opportunities and participation in the after hours roster.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Repairing and installing door hardware, door closers and locks
• Quoting security requirements
• General locksmithing including rekeying and restricted key systems
• Smart Locks and Access Control
• Safe sales, delivery and gain entry
• Automotive locksmith work including ignitions, door locks and keys

Who We Are Looking For

Our client is looking for an experienced tradesman who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and enjoys working as part of a professional team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years tradesman experience
• Good communication skills
• Excellent automotive locksmith experience
• Experience using Autel, SmartPro and Tango
• EEPROM programming experience
• Experience with Access Control
• Experience with Smart Locks
• Willingness to participate in the after hours roster
• A current Queensland Security Licence, or the ability to obtain one

Experience with safe installations and gain entry is advantageous but not essential.
