Lift Technician

About the role

Easy Living Home Elevators is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lift Technicians to join our growing team in Perth Western Australia. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in Installation, maintaining, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial lift systems. This is a multi-facetted role designed to provide a variety of work and improve your skill levels in all aspects of the lift Industry, you will be responsible for ensuring that all lift installations operate safely and reliably, providing essential support to our customers and contributing to the reputation of Easy Living Home Elevators as a trusted provider of elevator solutions.

Key responsibilities

1. Installation of new Lift Equipment

2. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on lift systems.

3. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults in lift equipment promptly and professionally

4. Perform emergency call-outs to attend to lift breakdowns and provide swift resolutions for customers

5. Install and commission components according to specifications and safety requirements

6. Test lift systems following maintenance or repair work to verify safe operation

7. Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work undertaken

8. Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients

9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

10. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team on various projects

What we're looking for

1. Current electrical licence or equivalent qualification recognised in Queensland

2. Proven experience working as a Lift Technician or in a similar electrical trades role

3. Strong knowledge of lift systems, mechanical components, and electrical systems

4. Competency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment

5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

6. Valid driver's licence.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

8. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

9. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

10. Commitment to health and safety standards and continuous professional development
