Liability and PI Claims Specialist

Summary:

As Claims Specialist for Hutch you’ll leverage your advanced understanding of Liability and Professional Indemnity claims to provide market leading claims service to our brokers and clients when they need it most. This role will also include some property claims handling. 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Claims, you’ll have responsibility for handing claims from lodgement through assessment to payment including:

• Managing a portfolio of liability, PI and property claims from notification through to resolution, including coverage analysis and litigation oversight. 
• Engage and manage legal and external service providers to drive excellent claims service and outcomes  
• Adherence to SLA timeframes and regulatory requirements 
• Deliver extraordinary levels of service 

Qualifications:

You have at least 5 years experience managing Liability and PI claims including litigated matters. 

Law degree preferred. 

You are: 

• Highly organised and detail-oriented  
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders  
• Analytical with strong problem-solving capability  
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical teams  
• Passionate about improving systems, processes and customer experiences  
• Proactive, adaptable and delivery-focused  
• Any property claims experience will be advantageous
