Prestige Inhome Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Attendants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, including Bondi, Randwick, Maroubra, Coogee, Kensington, Kingsford, Rose Bay, Double Bay and surrounding areas.

About The Role

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide personalised support to clients with their daily living needs, including:

Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)Supporting clients with showering, bathing, dressing and groomingToileting and continence managementAssisting clients with oral hygiene routinesMedication promptingSupporting clients with eating and drinkingAssisting with mobility aids and equipment based on individual client needsSupporting clients living with dementia, including using appropriate strategies to respond to resistance to careProviding catheter and stoma care where requiredProviding companionship, emotional support and assistance with community access where required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant, Support Worker, or similar role within aged care, disability support, or home and community careExperience providing personal care and supporting clients with complex care needsConfidence assisting with catheter and stoma care (desirable)Experience supporting clients living with dementia and understanding strategies to promote positive care outcomesA relevant qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support, Nursing, or a related fieldCurrent First Aid and CPR certificatesNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle to travel between client appointmentsFlexibility and availability to support short-hour services across the Eastern Suburbs
