Domestic Cleaner (Aged Care) in home

About the role

As a Domestic Cleaner (Aged Care) at McKenzie Clean Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for the aged still living in their own homes in Caloundra through to Bli Bli and surrounding areas. This is a casual role, offering you the flexibility to work around your other commitments. Approx 15-20h per week, with the potential for growth.

Must be available to work during school holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean private homes including bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas to the highest standards

• Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to keep the home clean and well-maintained

• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols to protect the wellbeing of our clients

• Provide a friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to our clients

About you

• Experience preferred but not essential. Training is provided.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness

• Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently and independently

• A caring, empathetic, and patient approach when interacting with our elderly residents

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, and be available during school holidays

• Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and supplies correctly

• Professional proficiency is required to be able to communicate with clients
