Kolbe Catholic College is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Materials Design & Technology Teacher to join our dynamic secondary learning community. 

This opportunity is ideally suited to an educator who enjoys developing practical skills, fostering creativity and empowering students through hands-on learning experiences. Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary pathways will be highly regarded. 

About the Role 

You will: 

• Teach Materials Design & Technology across Years 7-12. 

• Deliver innovative practical and theory-based learning programs. 

• Foster creativity, problem-solving and technical expertise. 

• Maintain safe and engaging workshop learning environments. 

• Contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the College. 

• Support the mission and values of Catholic Education. 

About You 

You will demonstrate: 

• Relevant teaching qualifications. 

• Experience teaching Design & Technology subjects. 

• Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary courses (highly regarded). 

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills. 

• The ability to work collaboratively within a professional team. 

• Capacity to teach Religious Education (advantageous but not essential).
