Doctor Aged Care is a leading GP service providing bulk-billed, Medicare-funded medical care to residents of residential aged care facilities across Melbourne.

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our after-hours Telehealth service, providing high-quality medical care to residents from the comfort of your own home.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to add a regular, flexible after-hours session to their existing work, without the need to build a patient base, manage administration or take on practice overheads.

The Role

• Provide after-hours Telehealth consultations to residents across our network of residential aged care facilities

• Flexible sessions available

• Manage a ready-made caseload of residents requiring medical review

• Conduct routine clinical reviews and medication reviews/charting as required

• Liaise with nursing staff, facility teams and families to support continuity of care

• Work remotely with the support of our experienced aged care team

About You

• AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioner

• FRACGP or equivalent specialist qualification

• Experience or an interest in residential aged care medicine

• Reliable, professional and compassionate approach to patient care

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff
