Proven experience in a credit control, accounts receivable, or collections environment.
Strong knowledge of collections processes, debt recovery practices, and relevant legislation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage difficult conversations while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with financial systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Previous experience supporting or supervising collections team members within a large organisation.
Why Join Heidelberg Materials?
