Shape the Future of Finance Through Data, Insights & Innovation

Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for data, reporting, technology and business performance? We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Data, Reporting & Systems to join our finance team in Perth and to lead our regional finance reporting, analytics, forecasting and finance systems strategy across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Reporting to senior regional leadership, this role will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights, strengthening reporting governance, driving continuous improvement, and leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance decision-making and business performance.

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

Strategic Finance & Performance Insights

• Lead the regional FP&A reporting, analytics and performance framework.
• Deliver meaningful insights on revenue, margins, productivity, utilisation, costs and operational performance.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Support strategic decision-making through commercial analysis, modelling and performance reporting.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term financial planning.
• Develop and enhance driver-based forecasting models.
• Oversee scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and risk/opportunity assessments.
• Ensure planning processes are efficient, consistent and aligned with business objectives.

Reporting, Data & Systems Leadership

• Drive the development of dashboards, KPIs and management reporting solutions.
• Lead regional finance reporting architecture across ERP, BI and analytics platforms.
• Enhance data governance, reporting consistency and system integrity across the region.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial and IT teams to align data and business priorities.

Oracle Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Act as the regional authority for finance reporting structures and data governance.
• Provide oversight of Oracle and finance systems enhancements, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Lead automation and optimisation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, speed and scalability.
• Ensure robust governance and compliance across finance systems and reporting processes.

AI & Finance Transformation

• Identify opportunities to embed AI and automation into finance processes.
• Support implementation of AI-enabled forecasting, anomaly detection and workflow improvements.

Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing reporting and analytics team.
• Build capability across finance, data and systems disciplines.

Qualifications

You are an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with strategic leadership capability. 

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5-8+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business performance or data analytics environments.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX and dashboard development.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP reporting platforms.
• SQL or advanced analytics capability highly regarded.
• Exposure to multi-country or matrix organisations preferred.
