Weekend Catering Assistant / Chef - Uniting - Nareen Gardens NSW

Cater Care is seeking a versatile, energetic, and detail-oriented Weekend Catering Assistant / Chef, to work within our friendly team at Uniting - Nareen Gardens, Bateau Bay, NSW

Roster Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong foundational culinary skills, and takes pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences from prep to clean-up.

What this role involves:

• Food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in commercial kitchens, food preparation and catering service would be well regarded
• Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certification
• Strong Knife skills, basic batch-cooking expertise, and ability to follow standard recipes accurately
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
