About The Role

We're seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead operations at our Enfield DC.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both warehouse operations and transport coordination, managing a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You'll bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to improving performance, strengthening systems, and leading a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and transport coordinationManaging relationships with external logistics and service providersContributing to continuous improvement initiatives, improving warehouse processes, and overall operational efficiencyPartnering with internal teams such as production, quality, sales and safety, to balance competing priorities and delivery expectationsLeading and developing the warehouse team, managing performance and employee relations while driving a strong safety and engagement culture

This role operates in a large-scale FMCG environment, requiring strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

About You

You're an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the confidence to work with stakeholders across all levels.

You will bring:

Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating competing priorities across internal teams and external partnersConfidence in managing supplier relationships and having constructive, outcome-focused conversationsA continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement practical solutionsStrong warehousing experience and knowledge with an understanding of inventory management, stock control, and traceability processesDemonstrated people leadership capability in an industrial environment with high emotional intelligence, with the ability to manage performance, conflict, and team engagement

Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous, with an understanding of HACCP and quality standards preferred.
